Our History
Everyday Literature is your guide to great books, giving you everything you need about the books that matter.
Everyday Literature is a recently created blog that offers a curated selection of the best contemporary fiction, classic novel, financial, self-help and philosophical resources, highlighting books that not only captivate and entertain but also deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. We offer free access to our services since education should be freely dispersed in the public medium.
With so many books published, you can’t read most of them, let alone read them all, so we only seek out the best and recommend them. We will then give you all the information you need to choose the books that are right for you. Among other things, Everyday Literature offers in-depth reviews, summaries and “beyond the books” articles; hand-picked recommendations for similar reading from thousands of books and authors; the ability to browse by genre, period, context, and a wide range of topics; upcoming previews of notable titles and a wealth of book club resources.
Multiple Reviews
Your time is valuable, with all availability of recent and ancient books on the internet, we must decide which books are worth a read and which do not. Therefore, we gathered critics to examine each book to review down to its salient point (all storylines annoying details and spoilers removed) – so visitors can see at a glance what the critics have said about each book.
Our articles also include a section of the book’s analysis and their story in a nutshell. This through description contains an insight into the plot, the characters and the context behind the process of writing each book.
For a book to hold our interest, it must do more than tell a good story, it must give us a window into the lives of others, or a mirror in which to reflect on our own experiences In short, it must not only entertain but also inform and make us discover new things. These books are not limited to any particular genre, so we include books of all genres, both fiction and non-fiction (classic novels, financial, self-help and philosophical works).
In our reviews, we focus on the characters, themes, writing style and overall experience of reading the book – always to help you decide which books are right for you.
